About
In August 2003, I attended Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in psychology in May 2007. In August 2007, I started my Master's work at Wake Forest University with William Fleeson. I studied the relationships between personality states and momentary goal pursuit, using both experience-sampling methodology (ESM) and experimental methods. I graduated with my M.A. in Experimental Psychology in May 2009.
I started at the University of Groningen in September 2009. I will be studying achievement motivation under the supervision of Nico van Yperen and Andrew Elliot (University of Rochester). My current work focuses on the effects of mastery goals on performance, and the potential moderators of this effect, such as perfectionism.
